NNAC Remodels Kamiah Courthouse

The project was a remodel of the Kamiah Courthouse for the Nez Perce Tribe. The building was originally built in 1939, is approx. 3,000 sq. ft. and is located in Kamiah ID. The building has had many uses over the years, everything from commercial storefront space, a casino and eventually to office space for the Tribal police.

The finished project will be used as a courthouse for the Nez Perce Tribe and city of Kamiah. 
It consisted of a complete interior demolition of the building leaving only the 4 exterior walls and roof structure. Once demolition was complete, reconstruction of new walls, finishes, mechanical, plumbing and electrical were completed.

Upon completion the Nez Perce Tribe held a building dedication ceremony including tribal drumming, song, prayer and smudging.

CDA Firestation #4

New category 5 Fire Station stick framed, composition shingles, brink wainscot, landscaping, HMA paving & interior finishes. Ground up construction including grading to finish work to build a new fire station.

Spokane County Courthouse

This project was the remodel/renovation of approximately 4,400 square feet of office spaces and Courtrooms in the Spokane County Courthouse 2nd floor, for the Family Law Center and courtrooms.

The project involved historic restoration and preservation of existing features including portions of the project that were part of the original building built in 1885. The features of this project included maintaining portions of the original 1885 flooring in a vault converted to a conference room, as well as 1885 steel doors and frames.

Structural modifications were made to strengthen previously damaged portions of the masonry walls and unique flooring system. The space was given new custom casework and woodwork to match the historic features of the building. Modern conveniences and security measures were added along with upgraded electrical, HVAC, Fire Protection, Fire Alarm and plumbing.

Malmstrom AFB Bldg 1440 ReRoof

Removal of 97,500 sf of existing metal roof system on three-bay hangar building, and installation of new Firestone 90-mil fully adhered EPDM membrane roof system. Work included flashings, cover board, rigid insulation, expansion joints, snow guards, wall infill, metal flashings, copings, trim and heat tape snow-melt system. Working in occupied facility where daily access needed to be maintained in order to allow aircraft removal on a daily basis, and protection of building occupants from overhead hazards.  Temporary entrance protection scaffolding was installed at (21) man doors, and movable rolling scaffolding installed in front of the three hangar bay doors.

Idaho State University Phase II Anatomy Lab

The Idaho State University Anatomy Lab project consisted of tenant improvement and remodel in an operational cadaver lab in a medical arts college. This project site was treated as hospital conditions for construction and the facility needed to be cleaned and spotless daily. Work could not impact class or class schedules.

The scope of work included new office space, tenant improvement of computer labs, new tenant space for a nationalized standard testing facility and medical labs. Exterior renovations included new entry and courtyard facility for access in to the building. There were a total of five different worksites in the building.

Bayview Pier 42

An existing Naval facility, Pier 42 exhibited heavy deterioration and was determined to be structurally unsound. Floating walkway 05 was also heavily deteriorated and in need of repairs. This contract provided selective demolition of the existing sharksmouth, superstructure, crane & rail system, timber substructure and fender piles.

Pier 42 new installation included crane outrigger steel support piles, structural pile jackets, replacement of timber bracing, steel ladder, handrails & swing-gate, installed new fender/guide piles and guide assemblies, under-pier dry-fire suppression system, connection to existing 8” sewer main, electrical distribution and exterior LED lighting.

Walkway 05 new installation included driving steel pipe piles, removal & replacement of timber guide pile assemblies & rub rails, timber stringers, and timber pile cap at landing platform. Trade work included crane operations; (both crawler & barge mounted), selective demolition & deconstruction, structural steel, metal ladders & railings, pier timberwork, painting & marine coatings, dry-fire suppression system, steel pipe piles, wood marine piles, asphalt cutting & patching, striping, electrical distribution, exterior lighting, sanitary sewer connection, and polymer pile encapsulation.

Pharmacy Renovations

NNAC was the Prime Contractor. Work involved major renovation to existing active pharmacy that remained in operation throughout construction. Level IV Infection dust control was implemented and maintained, and work was phased into four parts to allow for uninterrupted pharmacy operation.

We handled all management aspects of the project which consisted of onsite superintendent, safety, quality control, and project management, and self-performed selective demolition, finishes carpentry, moving, infection control dust containment, and final cleaning.

Capitol Annex

Capitol Annex is a phased project that consisted of 4 levels of interior work to be performed including MEP’s and exterior work also. This is the final stage of this building before it gets turned over to the owner. NNAC provided the overall management of subcontractors and vendors / suppliers and is the POC for the owner regarding this project. NNAC managed over 18 subcontractors with scopes including roofing, masonry, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, architectural, and steel erection.

KI5014 Horizontal Construction Package #9

The nature of this project required that NNAC support and manage pavement and subgrade repairs to 12 large, separate areas across Fort Hood at once. NNAC provided diligent supervision and quality assurance to ensure that all areas were completed timely and to specification to allow use of the construction areas on time.

KI17008 Urban Air Killeen

NNAC worked closely with the franchise owners of this project to adapt the design and final product to meet the trampoline park’s specific requirements. Several adaptations were made to the PEMB to ensure the facility could accommodate the trampoline park equipment and rides, while also meeting city building codes and safety requirements. NNAC also performed several scopes of work as construction allowances, allowing the customer to save money and stay under budget.
